The Tuscan National in Arizona is situated at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains and it is an excellent golf and spa resort. So not only can you relax whilst playing golf, but you can also experience the ultimate in relaxation in the resorts spa too.

One of the best things about the Tuscan National is that if you have forgotten anything you can easily purchase what you need from the golf shop situated there. You can also practice on both long and short courses. So if your techniques are a little rusty you have a chance to get into the swing of things before trying your luck on the championship course.

• Biltmore Resort

The Biltmore Resort has three great golf courses and it is definitely one of the best Arizona golf vacations locations to visit. The Links course is one of the best and golfers worldwide respect it for its testing, well-bunkered greens. The Adobe course is slightly more modern and it is both relaxing and challenging at the same time. Finally the 18-hole putting course is designed to test every golfer’s skills and it is a course which can be used by guests to the resort at no extra cost.

• Francisco Grande

The Francisco Grande hotel and golf resort is home to a classic championship golf course. Ralph Plummer was the man who designed the course and he managed to include three lakes, really well kept greens and over 1,500 mature trees in order to make it look spectacular. It is a desert framed golf course and golfers of all ages love testing their skills here. It would definitely be a shame not to look at the Francisco Grande course when looking for Arizona golf vacations.

Overall Arizona is one of the best places in the world to find championship golf courses. There are so many different Arizona golf vacations available so you really are spoilt for choice.
