Learn from Tiger Woods golf swing

from:

Tiger Woods is one of the top professional golfers playing today, so of course he is a player that many golfers want to emulate. The Tigers Woods golf swing has been studied and some of the great golf swing techniques that he uses can be practiced by novice golfers. By working on some of the Tiger Woods golf swing concepts, you may see some score improvement and an overall more efficient and effective golf swing.

One way that Tiger Woods golf swing gives him power and length off the tee and in the fairway with his irons, is that he uses a full back swing that maximizes golf swing power. To achieve a full golf swing, flexibility is key. Follow this simple exercise that Tiger Woods and many other of the golf professionals practice to get a more flexible back swing:

• Extend your left arm straight out to the left, if you are a right-handed golfer, or extend out your right arm if you are a left-handed player.
• Place this hand you have just extended on top of a golf club that is sitting perpendicular to the ground. Join your other hand on top of the club also.
• Bend your upper body down, putting pressure on the club. You should feel a stretch in your shoulder.
• Hold this position for about ten to fifteen seconds.
• Repeat with the opposite side for a follow-through stretch.
• Try this exercise before you tee off or start your round of golf. Since this stretch can be done quickly, you can also do it right before any shot to get more distance and power.

Following are some more golf swing tips that involve concepts that Tiger Woods golf swing executes time and time again:

• Pay attention to the hips. Be sure to fully rotate your hips during your golf swing. In your final position after your follow-through, you will want your hips pointing directly out towards the direction you want the golf ball to fly.
• Golf swing speed is increased by quickly turning your torso, or middle of the body. Do not try to gain more speed by moving your arms, shoulders, or wrists. Your body should work in coordination.
• Be sure to keep your body directly over the ball. Tiger Woods golf swing has a strong center of gravity. Never sway back and forth during your golf swing and keep your legs steady as a sturdy foundation.
• To really understand how Tiger Woods golf swing is executed, try watching and studying a video in slow motion of his golf swing.
