No Mon, No Fun? No Way – Find Free Golf Instruction

from:

Let’s face the facts – golf is an expensive sport and a more expensive pastime. However, millions of people worldwide partake in play on the fairways every year. You’ve decided to join the ranks, but you’ve already invested so much money into it that you want to find free golf instruction to offset the cost and make it worth your while. Of course, the harder you look, the more you notice that, as with all other aspects of the game, hiring an instructor is costly. Where can you find free golf instruction?

Start at home. As a beginner, you probably run the same course regularly, trying to get a feel for it. Get to know some other regulars there, and ask them for some advice. While most won’t launch into a free golf instruction session, they are quite likely to spend a few minutes offering tips and showing you some things that will help you improve along the way. Another trick to gaining such attention without asking for help is to move up – start off at the forward tees, and more regulars will assume you are a novice. As with most sports, there are plenty of people who think they know it all and are anxious to impart their wisdom.

Become a member of the course club. Sometimes, just by becoming a member and paying the dues, you can receive other perks, like a free golf cart rental each month or free golf instruction sessions every so often. You could also look into various events at public golf courses. Sometimes, on an afternoon that is typically not busy, they may hold a free golf instruction lesson for anyone who wishes to attend.

Let’s also take into account that you probably didn’t just wake up one day and decide you wanted to play golf. You probably got into the sport through a friend, coworker, significant other, or family member. That means this other individual probably knows more about golfing than you do. Since they are the reason you have already spent so much money to get into the sport, it should be a given to ask them for a little free golf instruction to make the game more interesting and competitive for you.

If all else fails, go to the source where you can find just about anything for free – the Internet. Here, you’ll find numerous tips, tricks, diagrams, and even free golf instruction videos to assist you. Whatever method you choose for free golf instruction, be sure that you are benefiting from it; otherwise, what good is free?!
